Great Wine Capitals is an innovative project consisting of a network of different cities in different countries. GWC has received the city of Lausanne in Switzerland as a new member forming 10 cities that share economic and cultural values promoting together wine tourism, culture, and the commercial exchange.
This year, from June 27 to 29, the city of Verona, Italy hosted the new addition of Lausanne to this network where the Best of Wine Tourism competition was held, which aims to reward the excellence in the wineries of member cities that have excelled in diverse categories ranging from art and culture, to services linked to wine tourism.
